Bereavement Leave
When a death (including miscarriage) occurs in an employee's immediate family, all full-time employees may take up to 2 weeks off with pay to grieve, be with family, attend the funeral, etc.
When a death occurs in an employee's extended family or non-family members, all full-time employees may take up to 3 days off with pay to grieve, attend the funeral or make funeral arrangements.

Jury Duty
Employees who are required to take time off to serve on a jury or grand jury will be granted up to 2 weeks of paid Jury Duty leave in a year. Employees appearing on their own behalf (i.e. as a plaintiff, defendant, or for non-subpoenaed court appearances), instead of as part of jury duty, are not covered by this policy.
